Privacy Policy

You provide directly:

• Contact details (name, email, phone)
• Trip preferences, budget, travel dates, and party details
• Passport/ID and visa information necessary for booking (only when required for a specific booking)
• Special needs, health, mobility, or dietary requirements you choose to disclose, where relevant to your trip
• Payment records — payments for WANDR Journeys and itineraries we package are made by wire transfer, and we keep records of payments received (such as payer name, amount, and date) against your journey's payment schedule. For supplier-direct bookings (such as standalone hotels, flights, tours, transfers and car rentals), you may provide payment card details, which we pass to the supplier or booking platform to complete your booking. We do not store card details, and we do not collect card numbers through the Platform. Please do not enter payment card details in our AI planning chat or send them by email. We will tell you how to provide them securely for supplier-direct bookings.
• Information about other people in your travel party, such as names, ages, passport details, and special requirements. If you give us information about another person, you confirm that you have their permission and have told them about this Privacy Policy. Information about a minor must be provided by the minor's parent or guardian.

Collected automatically:

• Device and browser information, IP address, pages visited, and interaction data via cookies and similar technologies, including advertising cookies and pixels from Meta and Google when you consent to them (see Section 7 and our Cookie Policy)
• Approximate location inferred from your IP address
• Conversation history with our AI planning agents, used to build and refine your traveler preference profile

Received from others:

• Travel suppliers, such as booking confirmations, schedule changes, and service updates
• Other members of your travel party who make a booking that includes you
• Service providers that help us operate the Platform, such as analytics and authentication providers
• Referral partners and travel-advisor networks that introduce you to us or help service your booking

Categories of Personal Information

The table below summarizes the categories of personal information we have collected in the past 12 months, where it comes from, why we use it, and who receives it.

We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.

• To research, plan, price, and book your travel with third-party suppliers
• To personalize AI-generated recommendations based on your preference history
• To track payments received and manage commission and booking records
• To communicate with you before, during, and after your trip (confirmations, price-drop alerts, disruption notices, pre-trip briefings)
• To comply with legal, tax, and Seller of Travel recordkeeping obligations
• To improve our AI agents and Platform performance
• To secure the Platform and detect and prevent fraud
• To send marketing communications you have opted into, and, with your consent, to show you relevant WANDR TRVL ads on Meta and Google platforms and measure their performance (see Section 7 and our Cookie Policy)

Your trip details and preferences are processed by AI systems operated by our AI service provider to generate itineraries, pricing, and recommendations. Our AI service provider does not use your information to train its models or for any other purpose of its own. Your preference profile is stored in our secured database and used only to serve your future trip planning, unless you request deletion.

The prices we quote are based on supplier rates and our fees. We do not set or adjust prices based on your personal data.

• Travel suppliers (airlines, hotels, tour operators, ground transport) and booking platforms — only the information necessary to complete and service your booking, including, for supplier-direct bookings, the payment card details you provide
• Service providers: hosting, data storage, AI processing, authentication, security, error-monitoring, analytics, and email providers, bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations
• Advertising partners (Meta and Google) — if you consent to marketing cookies, these partners receive information about your activity on the Platform, and may receive your email address or phone number in hashed form, to show you relevant WANDR TRVL ads and measure their performance (see Section 7 and our Cookie Policy)
• Legal and regulatory bodies, where required by law or to comply with Seller of Travel and tax recordkeeping requirements
• Business transfers: if WANDR TRVL or its assets are transferred, including to a successor or affiliated entity or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. The recipient will be required to handle it consistently with this Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Sharing with advertising partners for targeted advertising, and how to opt out, is described in Section 6.

The Platform is operated from the United States and is intended for clients in the United States and Canada. If you visit from another country, your information will be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.

Canada: we obtain your consent before using non-essential cookies, and you may withdraw consent and request access to or correction of your personal information. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, the Commission d'accès à l'information.

Quebec: our AI planning agents create a traveler preference profile from your conversations and bookings. You may ask us to stop profiling or to delete your profile at any time. The person in charge of the protection of personal information is our Privacy Officer, who can be reached at privacy@wandrtrvl.com.

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to access, correct, and delete it, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. The categories of personal information we collect, their sources, the purposes for which we use them, and the categories of recipients are listed in the table in Section 1.

We do not sell personal information for money. When you consent to marketing cookies, our advertising partners (Meta and Google) receive identifiers (such as cookie IDs and IP address) and internet activity (such as pages viewed and inquiries started) to show you WANDR TRVL ads. California law may treat this as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out using the "Your Privacy Choices" link in the site footer, by turning off marketing cookies in Cookie settings, or by enabling Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser, which we honor. How we respond to browser Do Not Track signals is described in our Cookie Policy. We do not have actual knowledge that we sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

We use sensitive personal information, such as passport details, payment card details for supplier-direct bookings, and health, mobility, or dietary needs, only to provide the services you request.

To exercise these rights, contact privacy@wandrtrvl.com. We will verify your identity before fulfilling a request to know, correct, or delete, usually by matching information you provide with information we already have. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf; we may ask the agent for proof of authorization and ask you to verify your identity directly.

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies on the Platform:

• Strictly necessary: required to run and secure the Platform, such as session management and fraud prevention. These are always on.
• Functional: remember preferences such as currency, language, and saved journeys. These load only if you consent.
• Analytics: help us understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it. These load only if you consent.
• Marketing: Meta and Google pixels that let us show you WANDR TRVL ads and measure their performance. These load only if you consent.

You can change your choices at any time in Cookie settings or through the "Your Privacy Choices" link in the site footer. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out of analytics and marketing cookies. Our Cookie Policy lists the specific cookies we use, how long they last, and how we respond to Do Not Track signals.

We retain personal and booking information for as long as necessary to service your trips, meet Seller of Travel and tax recordkeeping obligations (at least three years), and resolve disputes. You may request earlier deletion of your preference profile, subject to legal retention requirements.

• Booking, payment, and identity records: for at least three years after your trip to meet Seller of Travel and tax obligations, and longer if needed to resolve a dispute.
• AI conversation history: if a conversation leads to a booking, it is kept with that booking's records for at least three years after your trip. Other conversations are kept while your account is active and deleted after three years with no trips or logins. Conversations from visitors who are not signed in are deleted within 90 days unless they become an inquiry. You can ask us to delete your conversations at any time, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Traveler preference profile, including any health, mobility, dietary, and accessibility needs saved to it: kept on your user profile, not tied to a single trip, until you remove them or ask us to delete them. If your account has no trips or logins for three years, we delete your preference profile.
• Payment card details: not retained. Card details you provide for a supplier-direct booking are passed to the supplier or booking platform to complete the booking and are not stored by WANDR.
• Marketing and cookie data: until you withdraw consent, or for the cookie lifespans listed in our Cookie Policy.

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encrypted data storage and row-level security on our database. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

The Platform is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors except as necessary travel-party information provided by a parent or guardian completing a booking.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform or email prior to taking effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top shows when this policy was last revised.
