Elephants and baobabs give way to the crater floor, highland gardens and the cultural and archaeological stories of Ngorongoro. Four nights across two stays.

Act II · The Serengeti

Follow the rhythm of the plains.

Travel from Seronera to the northern wilderness, with three nights in tented camps. Your guide follows the wildlife; migration movements and river crossings remain seasonal and unpredictable.

Stays & meals

Nine nights in double rooms at the five named properties. Day 1 includes dinner and a lunch box. Days 2–7 include breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Zanzibar meal plan for Days 8–9 will be confirmed before booking. Day 10 includes breakfast. Drinking water is included throughout the journey.

Safari & discovery

Professional safari guide, a 4WD safari jeep with a refrigerator and charging facilities, the listed national park and conservation fees, Ngorongoro Crater service fees, concession fees, a Maasai village visit and Olduvai Gorge & Museum.

Transfers & domestic flight

Road transport and airport transfers, plus the domestic flight from Kogatende in the Serengeti to Zanzibar. Flight schedule and baggage allowance will be confirmed.

Arrange separately

International flights into Kilimanjaro and home from Zanzibar, tips, personal purchases, alcohol, laundry, visa fees, travel and medical insurance, and optional Zanzibar excursions are not included. You are responsible for booking your international flights and securing all necessary visas. Zanzibar insurance is paid separately to the designated provider, and the infrastructure charge is paid directly to the hotel. Your advisor will confirm the amounts and payment arrangements before booking.

Assistance & taxes

AMREF Flying Doctors assistance, taxes/VAT and the listed park, conservation, crater service and concession fees are included in your journey. AMREF assistance does not replace your own travel or medical insurance. Zanzibar insurance and infrastructure charges are additional and payable separately. Your advisor will confirm the applicable charges and assistance terms before booking.
